Turning a white-box space into your dream business

Don't be afraid to spell it out for your customers! Look how Conran's Retail Design incorporated Home Hubs core message of HOME directly into the buildout of there white-box retail space. At North Creek we say, "say what you mean and build what you say". To us, this says "Home is where the heart is... so buy our products and fill your home with heart!" Even if it design work in the ceiling doesn't literally spell "style", it screams "we care enough about style to do this to our ceiling space, imagine what our products will do for your home!"

Rebrand Retail Design did a great job for Best Buy in using the exposed ceiling space to create a design that invites customers to come into the store. We encourage our customers and designers to use all the space in their white-box to sell their business. This design feels like a ceiling fan creating currents of imagery to draw customers into the store. There's nothing we like better than making a well designed business interior come to life. 

As white-box builders, we can appreciate the dimension Russell George built into this store design for Crumpler. By building and stacking simple risers and extending product away from the walls by suspending piping, you can project your products up and out into your stores space. Small degrees of separation adds new dimension to your products presentation and draws customer attention.

We like the way Sundae Creative combined and contrasted the look of reclaimed brick and wood products with Nokia's modern day technology. This design effect make their products pop for customers. From a white-box contractors prospective, the contrast in sub-contractors pops out as well. Traditional brick masons and wood craftsman working alone side advanced LMI system's data and electrical experts.
